Information Management

 

The principal function of the department is to ensure that all hospital activity is captured and collated for reporting to the Hospital Board, Hospital Management, Department Heads, Health Service Executive, Patient Treatment Register and other stakeholders.

Summary of Services Provided

The main objectives of the department are to:

  • Support management by the provision of timely information on hospital activity
  • Respond to adhoc requests for information
  • Meet reporting deadlines set down internally and externally
  • Ensure that data is accurate, complex and relevant
  • Carry our regular audits and review of existing reports
  • Communicate with department heads to ensure quality of data captured

Hours of Service

Monday - Wednesday: 8.00am to 4.30pm.
Thursday: 8.00am to 5.00pm
