Summary of Services Provided
- The Medical Records Department provides clerical and administrative support to Consultants, Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors, Allied Healthcare Professionals and patients in MRI, Radiology, Theatre, Out-patients Department (OPD), Pre-Assessment Clinic (PAC) and the Day Ward.
- The department provides a secretarial/reception service to MRI, OPD, PAC and Theatre.
- Patient records for OPD clinics/research purposes are made available as required.
- All ward and X-ray typing is processed from the department.
- Patient and external queries are processed here including Freedom of Information requests.
