Casting Techniques Course
Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital offers a two day programme in Casting Techniques. This course is aimed at nurses working in the Plaster Rooms / Accident and Emergency Departments / Doctors working in the orthopaedic environment.
Interested RGNs or Doctors can register their interest in the next course by contacting either Rosemary Masterson (rosemary [dot] masterson [at] cappagh [dot] ie) or Maura Shanahan (casting [at] cappagh [dot] ie). Their names will be held on a contact list and they will receive information when the next course is planned.
Annual Conference
An annual orthopaedic nurse’s conference takes place in Cappagh each year, now entering its 15th year. This conference is aimed at nurses working in orthopaedic units or other related areas (orthopaedic theatres, OPD’s plaster rooms and paediatric orthopaedic settings).
